Sole to Soul Movement

We’re excited to bring Sole to Soul Movement back to Wildlands Trust this fall. The beautiful, peaceful setting of the barn provides the perfect space to step away from the demands of everyday life, reconnect with your body, and simply move.
Sole to Soul Movement is an expressive, music-led movement experience rooted in somatic principles and emotional awareness. This progressive workshop series invites you to explore movement as a way to feel, process, and express emotion—without judgment or performance pressure.
Our bodies carry the effects of daily stress as well as tension that can accumulate over time. Somatic movement brings awareness back into the body, offering an opportunity to release tension, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with how you feel in the present moment.
Each session includes guided, follow-along choreography with simple, rhythm-based movement designed to awaken the body and spirit. While the practice is not improvised or freeform dance, there is space to move in a way that feels natural and emotionally authentic to you.
Because this is a progressive series, sessions build upon one another, allowing familiarity, confidence, and trust in the body to deepen over time.
No dance experience is needed—just bring your body, your breath, and a willingness to feel the beat.
What to Wear:
Wear something comfortable that feels good to move in—fun, flowy, expressive, or simply you. We love to practice barefoot, allowing the feet to connect with the wood floor and creating a greater sense of grounding as we move. If barefoot isn’t comfortable for you, feel free to bring lightweight, flexible footwear that allows you to move easily.
Most importantly, come dressed in whatever helps you feel comfortable, free, and ready to move.
