If I could change one thing in the world, it would be to give everyone the gift of unconditional self-compassion. After all, we cannot give what we do not first have for ourselves. It’s a universal spiritual law. The inability to be self-compassionate is, in many ways, at the root of so much suffering in the world.
We often ask ourselves, Who are we to be magnificent and wonderful? But the real question is, Who are we not to be?
It took me years to learn self-compassion, and in those moments when I am at my lowest, I’ve learned to show myself more kindness, acceptance, and understanding—like a best friend or loved one holding me close, reminding me of my goodness.
Self-compassion means recognizing that the same divine intelligence that created the universe created each of us. This universe does not make mistakes. Just look at nature to witness the miracle of every life—it’s truly incredible. And yet, we often beat ourselves up, holding ourselves to impossible standards. I was once there, and I see it in others often.
Perhaps this month, as we give thanks for the people around us, we can also give thanks for our uniquely incredible selves. Let’s honor who we are, showing ourselves the compassion and appreciation we so deserve.

This is really beautiful,so true so powerful , is a lesson one needs to master at it
This is the work we are here to do and it is never too late to start. <3-G*
