A Journey of Grace: Eleven Years of Teaching Yoga & Dance

This year marks eleven years of teaching yoga, yet it feels like a lifetime—a lifetime of journeying alongside my students through loss, illness, anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, and countless other milestones. The soul knows.

Lately, I’ve been deeply moved by the gratitude people have expressed for my classes. One person shared that during her husband’s final days, attending class was the only thing that helped her hold on. Another told me that for the past nine years, throughout her battle with cancer, coming to class kept her grounded and strong. These moments remind me that I am merely a channel. My purpose is simple yet profound: to be a power for good in the world.

Hearing these stories and feeling the gratitude my students share has brought me to tears—tears not of sadness but of immense gratitude and joy. In yoga, we call this an ecstatic state of being, and it has been one of the most beautiful gifts of my teaching journey.

Through this path as Grace Marie (Victorino) Junek, one of the most profound spiritual lessons I’ve learned is that as we heal our “Self,” the world around us begins to heal too. It’s incredible to witness.

Dance once saved my life by allowing me to connect with another person’s rhythm, sentiment, and vibration. It gave me a way to express and experience the full breadth of human emotion—from joy to sorrow and back again. That is the transformative power of music and dance. Yoga, in turn, helped me quiet my mind, strengthen my body, and find the center of my being—a connection to my soul.

From a turbulent childhood and a young adult life marked by addiction, I slowly rose into a healthy, loving human BE-ing. It feels like a miracle, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

My work is clear: I am here to serve and to share everything that has helped me along my path. I’ve come to realize that small graces foster big changes. My work is not defined by a location but by the people I am blessed to serve.

Thank you for being part of my journey and for allowing me to be part of yours.

With Love & Gratitude, Grace 🙏💓
