During the storm my daughter went to pick up food at the local coffee shop because we had no power. On her way there she saw the electrical crew working hard and she purchased a big box of coffee to drop off for them, but they were gone. I was so grateful my children’s practice random acts of kindness.
Nothing like a surprise treat and a joke to cheer us up! <3!

I was at a restaurant with my three young boys trying to keep them occupied until the food came. When I asked for the bill, the waitress said an older couple nearby had paid my bill. They had left by then so I couldn’t thank them. What a nice, surprising thing to do.
I had a closing on a house scheduled during the storm last week. The seller had already signed, and moved to NH. The anxious buyer did a drive by and saw huge limbs covering the driveway. She requested all debris be removed prior to close – the following day! Dave, my son and I went and pulled the limbs onto the side yard and said that I would try to have the limbs cut up and hauled away – join the list right?. The seller had been texting with her next door neighbors inquiring about damage, and she told them about the buyers request. The next door neighbors,,,a couple probably in their early 70’s -brought their chainsaw, cut up the limbs..and hauled them into their yard so that we could close!!!
A coworker brought me a Payday bar lest week that I didn’t expect. Please bear in mind a Payday is a “good” candy bar. 🙂
The unexpected payday! <3!

When my dad took me to get candy at the store to make me feel better when my dog had to be put down. Then he told me some jokes to make me smile 🙂
