True Generosity Is a Two-Way Street

Imagine someone you really like—even love—is extremely generous.

They offer you their time, their friendship, and even thoughtful, beautiful gifts.
You decide to return that generosity by offering them something special.
But when you do, they refuse to accept it.

How does that make you feel?

Probably not great—because true generosity is reciprocal. Giving feels meaningful when it’s received.

The truth is, we’re not being truly generous if we can’t receive.
And many of us struggle with receiving—often because of deeply rooted feelings of unworthiness.

That’s why we must practice receiving with grace and gratitude.
If not for ourselves, then for the giver.

Watch what happens when you allow yourself to receive with an open heart.
Notice the joy it brings to the person giving.
Their light grows—and so does yours.

Giving and receiving are two sides of the same sacred coin.
One completes the other.
Both require presence, humility, and love.
